A notable online survey launched by Cerebro is seeking to find out how Mauritians feel about civility and manners in their daily lives.
With the question of whether rudeness is becoming more common, the survey aims to capture local perceptions of courteousness and respect in various settings.
Javed Bolah, Cerebro’s Executive Director, explains the importance of the survey: “Everyday interactions matter, whether we are at school, in public spaces, at work, or discussing sensitive topics like religion and politics.
We want to hear from you about your experiences.
The survey covers a range of scenarios, allowing respondents to reflect on their daily interactions. It seeks to answer key questions: Are people being polite? Is rudeness becoming worse in our society?
To encourage honest feedback, the survey ensures confidentiality. Participants can rest assured that their answers will remain private, contributing to a better understanding of the current state of civility in Mauritius.
“Your insights will help us understand what’s really happening in our country,” Javed Bolah emphasised.
